Update for the Dylan Saccoccio Newsletter and The Real Universal Empire

I just finished the first edit of The Real Universal Empire. The manuscript is tight and polished. I ordered one more author copy. While I wait, I’ll take a week off and get back to my usual research. In the meantime I’m also working on narration that I can pair with visuals, kind of like a YouTube-style format, that will be exclusively for my paid members on this Substack, so you’ll have access to an audio-visual version of the manuscript accompanied by the text of each chapter. This is an ambitious challenge for me because I can only record late at night (for sound quality). My goal is to complete at least one chapter per week. For those who prefer Audible, there will likely be a version you can get as a complete audiobook at Amazon or iBooks, but that will be further down the road, maybe mid-late 2024.

Once I finish this last edit, which is looking for minor typos and the like, I will publish the paperback, hardcover, and ebook versions of The Real Universal Empire worldwide. I compiled my initial research into a single document, which was around 100,000 words, and I whittled it down to a manuscript that is 45,000 words, about 185 pages of 12pt font and 1.5 spacing, so it’s easy on the eyes. It consists of 17 brief chapters that establishes as many facts as possible while minimizing as much conjecture and unrelated topics as possible. This is great for people who have limited time because there won’t be a huge commitment to get through a chapter. The goal was to make a book that you can give to a 6th-grader. A child could read this. There are some technical aspects because one must see the affinity between Irish and Punic (Sicilian Phoenician) in order to appreciate it, but I save that for the second-to-last chapter so as to not overwhelm casual readers. I’m very excited to see if I can make some financial gains with this work because it’ll enable me to fund traveling to the locations and bringing you 4K footage of everything I’ve written about over the last year. But if not, at least I’ve created a manuscript that will be available to those curious about the subject. Enjoy your weekend!
