One of the major reasons I focus on systems rather than individuals is because, when the macro scale of civilization is examined, everything you despise that permeates society has a demand. Everything is the way it is as a result of the code of honor and morality of the culture. There is no one individual or group of individuals to single out and blame. The only solution is to take responsibility for the demand you create. No demand means no benefit to supplying. This is applicable to the bad habits that destroy people, but also to the environment that attracts unwanted people to your country. They come for what you provide. Everything is simple but appears complex because most people want the circumstances of their nation or municipality to improve without them having to change their behavior. Improvement doesn’t work that way. Entropy does.
